The Colt serial number lookup on their website is a joke. The rear sight is a Bomar clone and not a real Bomar since that company went out of business quite a few years back. Hence it has Colt stamped on the left side. Here's mine bought in late 2021. It has the same Colt marking on the left side of the rear sight.
